A Quality Paradigm
I’ve always been respectful of quality goods.
"Spending a bit of money on a quality item is always better than buying something that will not last."
This idea has been a bit expensive at first since, when it comes to shoes, I needed to acquire enough in order to rotate them. The rule of thumb was to never wear the same pair more than twice a week, make sure to clean and insert shoetrees in the shoes, place them in a cloth bag, then in a box for storing until the next use. That is, I found, the best model. The shoes will last forever.
Enter Thursday. American idea, produced in Mexico. Incredibly affordable, amazing leather. In fact, the leather is so impregnated with oils that the owner might not even need to apply lotion as often. These are the best blend of looks and function. No, they are not as strong as redwings but better looking. No they are not better looking than St Crispin but more affordable.
It’s hard to believe that these are over 2 years old, used 4 to 5 days a week, Monday through Thursday and sometimes the weekend. Cleaned and lotion once or twice a month.
Quality, looks, and value combined…unparalleled
